Alison Page is an interior designer and member of the Merrima Design group. She has worked on health, education, commercial office, arts centre and public art projects. International awards acknowledge the emphasis her work places on social awareness.

A Wodi-Wodi woman from the NSW south coast, Page's work explores links between cultural identity, art and the built environment. Page works with various urban and rural Aboriginal communities to deliver culturally appropriate architectural services. Her projects range from multi-story buildings in the city to art projects in remote Australia as well as exhibitions overseas.

Page is a regular commentator of design both nationally and internationally; is a teacher of furniture design and visual arts; and a regular panelist of the ABC program The New Inventors which showcases Australian innovation and design.

Page details the rewards of her work:

"Being involved in projects that express spirituality in the built environment is fulfilling, as what we are creating with the community has a lot of meaning behind it"?.

Page is currently working on public sculptures in Coffs Harbour and Wollongong and is part of a team converting an old coal loader on Sydney Harbour into a sustainability park.
