Marc Fennell is an Australian interviewer, journalist, documentary maker, tv and radio host and author.

He has worked with the BBC, Audible, Showtime, Triple J, Monocle, Network Ten, ABC, SBS Australia, Fairfax, Foxtel, The Sydney Opera House and Red Bull.

In 2019, Fennell was introduced to international audiences when his Audible original podcast It Burns: The Scandal-Plagued Race to Breed the World’s Hottest Chilli raced up the Audible.com (USA) charts. The quirky, soulful, award-nominated documentary about pain and peppers was named one of the best podcasts of the year by Esquire (UK) and - yes, the above quote is real - Fennell was indeed dubbed “a cheerful Aussie version of Louis Theroux” by The Times (UK).

Since 2013, Marc has hosted the national current affairs programme The Feed for SBS Australia. He’s reported all around the world on everything from the 2019 Hong Kong Protests to Megachurches, Sex in Japan to survivors of ISIS torture. Marc’s one-on-one interviews with newsmakers like Al Gore, Tom Cruise, Julian Assange, Jennifer Lawrence have generated over 30 million online views and 3 United Nations Media Award Nominations.
