Dr Ann Jones is a journalist and presenter with an engaging and energetic approach to live events. She has the ability to observe the unusual and tell stories in sensitive and creative ways.

Currently a network presenter with ABC Radio National, Dr Ann Jones can be heard across Australia showcasing the best of nature, adventure and scientific research on her weekly program, Off Track. She has presented the TedX Sydney digital radio channel and is a regular guest on ABC Radio around the country. She is currently producing a feature-length documentary series as part of an ABC and BBC collaboration.

With a PhD in history from the Australian National University and a broadcasting degree from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Ann has much experience within the tertiary sector in Australia and is at home in the university environment.

Growing up in country Victoria, she has broadcast across a wide number of regional radio stations and has a special affinity with those who have a connection to land and nature.

Ann can easily conduct events of a formal nature, such as conferral ceremonies, or more informal proceedings, such as tours or Q & A’s.
