Author Di Morrissey has published twelve best selling novels in the past twelve years, making her one of Australia's most popular woman novelist.

Di has written all her life - as a journalist, advertising copywriter, screenwriter and novelist. Di's first book, 'Heart of the Dreaming', set in Longreach, was published in 1991. Di believes the success of her novels is due to them being written about and for, Australians.

Di's love of her country, her insight into issues confronting all Australians, has led her to include within her mass market, popular fiction novels, powerful themes - heritage, love of family, Australian identity, protection of the environment, reconciliation and awareness of Aboriginal culture, men and their search for spirituality, women's search for happiness.

While also being known as a television presenter on the original breakfast current affairs program, 'Good Morning Australia', Di maintains a high public profile of integrity and credibility. She sits on several boards and is currently a member of the National Centre for Breast Cancer's Advisory Board

She is a tireless speaker for charities, conventions and government bodies and always willing to assist in causes which she believes can help improve the lives of all Australians.
