Natarsha Belling

Natarsha Belling is one of the best known news presenters on Australian television. She read her first international news bulletin at just 21 and now has more than a decade of experience reporting and breaking some of the nations biggest stories.
Her passion for news, warmth and sincerity have seen the popular presenter enjoy a meteoric rise.

In 2009 Natarsha was promoted to present Network Tens Weekend news. She is also the face of the Network's innovative 11am morning news. Both bulletins focus heavily on breaking news, where Natarsha uses her invaluable skills as an award winning journalist to not only present the news but also shape it. She interviews the news makers and breakers, giving the audience unprecedented access to the latest information and analysis of the days major issues.

In 2008 Natarsha's passion for the environment was cemented when Network Ten appointed her as an Environmental Ambassador. As a mother of two young sons more than ever she realises the importance of protecting our planet for future generations. In her role as Ambassador Natarsha continues to raise public awareness of key environmental issues and promotes the Network's ongoing commitment to making a difference.

Natarsha is also an award winning journalist, receiving numerous accolades for her outstanding medical reports. She was awarded the Heart Foundations Excellence in Journalism Award and also The Juvenile Diabetes Foundations Award for Outstanding reporting for her coverage of Type 2 diabetes.

Natarshas rare and admirable talents were recognized early on in her stellar career. Whilst completing her final year of a Bachelor of Communications Degree at the prestigious Charles Sturt University, she was offered her first full time journalism position. After just 12 months gaining invaluable experience as a regional reporter for Prime News in Orange, Natarsha was poached to join the ABC news team in Darwin.

Whilst working with the ABC, Natarsha was at the forefront of reporting on the controversial euthanasia debate. It was in Darwin Natarshas skill as a newsreader was first discovered. At just 21 she presented her first bulletin for both ABC News Darwin and the Australia Television News Service, which was beamed to millions of viewers throughout Australia and Asia.

In 1998, Natarsha was again poached to join Network Ten in Sydney as a National newsreader and journalist. Natarsha has presented the news to millions of Australian viewers across all the networks major bulletins, including the national late night, weekend and morning news services.

Natarsha is also sought after MC, with a wealth of experience. She has hosted a variety of prestigious events from International Womens Day at Parliament House in Canberra, to Australia Day Live Celebrations with a crowd of more than 200,000 in Sydneys Darling Harbour.

In 2006 and 2008 Natarsha announced what she sees as her biggest achievements to date, the births of her beautiful sons Harrison and Hugo. This life changing role now gives her invaluable insight into many of the issues confronting Australian families and the constant challenge of the work/life juggle.

Since becoming a mother, Natarsha has also stepped up her commitments to various medical and children's charities. She is very mindful how blessed she to have two happy and healthy sons and is determined to assist others wherever possible. Natarsha is now on the National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Groups Womens Advisory Board, an Ambassador for the Royal Hospital for Women, The Cancer Council and the Bonnie Babes Foundation.
