The baby of the 1948 'Invincibles' made his test debut against India in 1947. Neil Harvey scored 150 in his first test match against India and went on to score a test century in his debut against England in 1948.

Neil Harvey was recognised as Australia's finest batsman for a decade immediately after. A brilliant left handed batsman and one of the finest cover fieldsmen of all times, he began his cricket career in Victoria and later migrated to NSW.

Neil scored 21 test centuries including 6 against England, the first in 1948 the last in 1962. Neil is revered as the finest left handed batsman Australia has produced since the second World War and he was a very exciting player against both pace and spin. One of the real legends and gentlemen of Australian cricket.
