Heather Swan is a trail blazing adventurer with many world firsts and two world records to her credit.

Heather was awarded one World Record for the highest BASEjump made in a wingsuit when she and her husband Dr. Glenn Singleman climbed and BASEjumped from 6604 metres on Mt Meru in the Garwhal Himalaya of India. She remains the only woman in the world to successfully combine high altitude mountaineering and wingsuit BASEjumping.

She followed this up with many other world firsts including a wingsuit flight across the Grand Canyon from rim to rim and the first wingsuit skydives in Antarctica, across Sydney Harbour, Melbourne and Brisbane cities and Lake Eyre (Kati Thanda). Heather raised the funding for all these projects. They featured meticulous planning, exacting risk management and flawless execution.

Heather combined her career as a ground breaking wing-suit pilot, with that of corporate executive. She held senior positions in Marketing and Management in both private and public sector organisations including establishing the highly successful business unit Olympic Communicators on behalf of the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC), which was modelled by National Olympic Committees (NOCs) around the world.

She is also the author of three successful books and has featured many times on top media programs such as 60 Minutes (three times) and Australian Story (twice) and the Best of Australian Story.

Heather is a recipient of Australian Geographics prestigious Spirit of Adventure Award and remains an Australian Geographic Ambassador, contributor, presenter and member of the Nancy Bird Walter Sponsorship selection panel.

Heather is married to Dr. Glenn Singleman. She is a mother and grandmother and recently traded her corporate career for a totally new direction farmer. She owns Dark Horse Farm Yackandandah in Victorias scenic North East where they grow food organically and raise and train performance horses naturally.
