Dr Rosie King is a doctor with a difference. She is an internationally acclaimed sex therapist, educator and best-selling author with over 30 years of clinical experience. After graduating from the University of NSW in 1976, Dr King spent over a decade in general practice before specialising in relationship and sex therapy. Her current clinical practice is situated in Bondi Junction at the Sydney Centre for Sexual and Relationship Therapy. Dr King is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in the Sexual Health Medicine Chapter. She is a current member and past president of ASSERT (Australian Society of Sexual Educators, Researchers and Therapists).
Dr King is well known for her work in the media over many years in TV, radio and the print media. Her relationships column in Woman's Day magazine has helped many men and women over its 15 years. Dr Rosie presents lectures and workshops within Australia and internationally and she is in great demand on the speakers' circuit for her warmth, advice and humour.
Dr King is the author of the best-selling book Good Loving Great Sex and her new book Where did my libido go? for women with low sexual desire will be released in June 2010. In 2002 Dr King was honoured with the International Society of Sex and Impotence Research's 20th anniversary award for her work in raising global awareness of sexual issues.
