At the young age of 16, Dr Brad began studying Medicine at Monash University and was qualified as a Doctor by the age of 21. He trained in General Medicine, General Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Coronary Care, Endocrinology, Emergency Medicine, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, Intensive Care, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Renal Medicine and Urology.

In 2005, he commenced general practice training and in 2008, Dr Brad became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

In 2013 he became a Medical Expert and Host of the Logie-Nominated television programme 'Embarrassing Bodies Down Under'. This is an Australian version of the original British TV series 'Embarrassing Bodies', a TV show dedicated to decrease the stigma attached to embarrassing health problems and increase awareness of traditionally �taboo� topics.

Dr Brad McKay has also worked as an Emergency Registrar at Naas General Hospital in County Kildare - Ireland, with the Aboriginal Communities on the Central Coast of New South Wales and as a General Practitioner in both Melbourne and Sydney.

He is passionate about all aspects of medicine especially Sexual Health, Men�s Health, Mental Health, Paediatrics & Women�s Health. An experienced world traveler, he is also able to provide you with travel advice and with information regarding the necessary immunisations needed while at various destinations around the globe.

Dr Brad is a regular medical advisor on many Australian programs including The Project, Today Extra, Daily Edition, 702 ABC Sydney, 936 ABC Hobart, 3AW Melbourne and Nightlife, among many others. He also regularly writes articles for Gay News Network (GNN), News.com.au and GQ
