A master communicator with over twenty eight years in the television industry, Annette Allison is widely known and respected for her life long involvement in the print and electronic media.
After leaving school, Annette commenced working full time in television and radio, and, over the years, worked as newsreader, journalist, announcer, interviewer, commentator, compere, weather girl, quiz show panellist, current affairs reporter and documentary producer.
Annette was a daily guest for some years on the Ten Network's, Beauty and the Beast, as well as being a regular guest on shows such as Pot Luck, Pot of Gold and Celebrity Squares. In 1971 she won a Logie Award as "Queensland's Best Female Personality" and, in 1980, was presented with a Logie for "Victoria's Most Popular Female Star". Annette co-hosted Good Morning Melbourne on the Ten Network for ten years and occasionally co-hosted Channel Ten's, Good Morning Australia.
Annette is also renowned for her work in public relations. She has a long track record of involvement with major prestigious events and products, and is regularly sought after by the media for her opinions. She has worked with the Melbourne International Festival of the Arts and in 1991 helped position the Spring Racing Carnival as the most highly recognised major event in Australia.
