Peter Fenton was born in Boggabri New South Wales and educated at Parramatta High School. He then went on to play over 200 minor grade games for Parramatta and become one of Australian legendary Rugby Union Coaches.

An outline of his professional coaching career is attached. Peter's professional career is varied incorporating his love of writing, film and sport. He wrote and co-produced the following videos: The Running Game, a one hour video on The Wallabies tour of Great Britain in 1981.

The African Campaign, a 90 minute video on the Wallaby tour of South Africa in 1992 and also co-produced Pick Me Up and Run, a 50 minute video on how to play rugby, featuring the 1995 Wallabies.

Peter published his first book in 1992, titled, "Sport The Way I Speak It". A series of anecdotes on his coaching career and over 50 poems on Australian sport. His second book, a biography on the great boxer, Les Darcy, "The Legend of The Fighting Man" was published in 1994, followed by his third book, "For the Sake of the Game", released in March 1996 which tells of the NSW Waratah's tour of the United Kingdom and France in 1928/29.

Renowned as Australia's most prolific sound mixer of feature films, Peter has been responsible for the sound tracks of more than 200 Australian films since the early 70's. His Chief Mixer credits include; Caddy, Sunday Too Far Away, Newsfront, Picnic At Hanging Rock, The Getting of Wisdom, Gallipoli, Phar Lap, The Year of Living Dangerously, Evil Angels, The Russia House, Lightning Jack, I.Q. and Six Degrees of Separation.

It is fair to say that Peter "Fab" Fenton is highly regarded as a sound mixer, film maker, coach, commentator, author, poet, raconteur, lover of Australian sporting legends .... and occasional drinker!
