Hugh has been involved in conversations that matter for over 25 years in diverse cultural backgrounds around the globe for products and services that have had a price range from $2,000 to over $30million.

His success in the field is built on the premise that we are all selling all the time - whether it is:

* our own choices as to how we live our lives.

Core to his philosophy is that people buy people first, not companies or products after all..... Selling is Just a conversation.

Hughs professional conversations started in London in the computer software industry. During more than a decade with his first company, he rose to senior levels, including General Manager, Comshare Australia. On being headhunted into Hong Kong he broadened his understanding of the importance of relationship over sales technique honing a more engaged, collaborative approach to leverage the cultural differences now faced.

Over a two year period for Symix Inc. his conversations managed 7 countries and he; opened offices in mainland China, managed double-byte enablement of the product, recruited and managed resellers in multiple countries, and increased revenue by more than 300%.

On leaving Hong Kong he backpacked for a year around Asia, Africa, and Europe and developed his US$10 a day survival conversations.

On returning to Sydney, he eased himself back into the working routine for a couple of years in his own company brokering distribution deals between international software companies. It was not long before a client snaffled him up and he was back in the IT industry doing what he did best. The following years saw him in senior positions for well known companies; Educom, KAZ Computers and EMC.

Intent on having at least his third mid-life crisis Hugh turned his back on PAYE once and for all and followed his passion - helping individuals and teams achieve their potential. First, as a Licencee with Leadership Management Australia, honing his; coaching, facilitation, and behavioural change skills for nearly five years before setting up his own company – Just a conversation.

Hugh is a thought leader in getting people comfortable in controlling conversations that matter, building trust, and ultimately experiencing more out of life. During this period he has coached and assisted hundreds of individuals across a wide-range of industries for both large and small companies.

Success is Just a conversation. Whether it is; with our children, business colleagues, clients, friends, or even ourselves - the conversations we choose to have are fundamental to our success in life.
