Wayne Grady was born, in Brisbane Australia in 1957. He turned professional at the age of 16 before regaining his amateur status for five years.

In 1989, he beat Ronnie Black on the third hole of their playoff to snare his first PGA Tour win at the Manufacturers Hanover Westchester Classic. His finest moment came in 1990 when he won the PGA Championship at Shoal Creek with a three-stoke victory over Fred Couples, his second and last Championship on the PGA Tour.

Grady was elected chairman of the Australasian PGA Tour in 2000, and is an internationally respected golf commentator at major tournaments. Grady is also an internationally respected golf commentator for major tournaments. He joined the BBC golf commentary team in 2000 for The Open Championship.

International victories: 1978 Westlakes Classic, 1984 German Open, 1988 Australian PGA Championship, Winner, 1990 PGA Championship , 1991 Australian PGA Championship.
