Romy Alwill is best known as the likeable presenter and the creative force behind many of the stunning domestic interiors featured on Channel Nine's top-rating lifestyle program, Domestic Blitz.
Romy and the Domestic Blitz team are responsible for renovating the homes of real Australian heroes, providing plenty of smiles and often tears of joy all in just 48 hours!
Romy's captivating smile, natural style and ability to maintain her elegance amongst the carnage of a worksite have made her a popular new talent on the show.
Prior to joining the Domestic Blitz team, Romy established and managed the NSW division of Coco Republic Interior Design, now a very successful part of Coco Republic?s national business.
Her interior design style is classic, contemporary and very beautiful. She believes good interior design reflects the lifestyle of the occupants and expresses their personalities, while fitting in with the surrounds.
Romy has created interiors for Jonahs at Whale Beach, Bannisters Hotel at Mollymook and Favela Bar in Sydney's Potts Point. She has also created interiors for Australia's high profile personalities, including Johanna Griggs.
Romy graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2000 with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture (1st class Hons). She worked as an art director in a boutique London ad agency on property marketing and national print campaigns before returning to Sydney where, in 2001, she was appointed as Interior Design Editor for Belle Magazine, a position she held for five years.
In addition to designing and presenting Domestic Blitz, Romy runs her own interior design consultancy, Alwill - Interiors.
