Jason Jay is a motivational keynote speaker who believes we all have flair -- we all have the ability to perform tasks and activities to a level of unconscious competence, or effortless mastery.

Starting in his father's bar before he was legally old enough to drink, Jason went on to blaze a trail through the Australian liquor industry, becoming a champion flair bartender (think Tom Cruise in Cocktail) before building his successful training practice in 1997.

Over the subsequent decade his training business enlightened tens of thousands of frontline staff, managers and business owners. In 2007 he was awarded with the prestigious Contribution to the Industry Award at the Australian BarAwards.

After working with everyone from the cleaners through to the owners of multi-?‐ million dollar operations, Jason noticed a common theme emerging; no matter what the occupation, there were people who immersed themselves in their roles and gave all they had -- and others who seemed to show up physically but not mentally.

He had spent his entire career motivating and enthusing these people -- helping them to access more of their potential and creating positive changes in their work and personal lives. So...in early 2008 he deciding to restructure his business and free up more time to pursue his passion...to inspire others to live with flair.

He joined the National Speakers Association (Australia) and became an avid student of the masters; Alan Parker, Matt Church, Randy Gage, Jana Stanfield, Terry Hawkins, Dale Beaumont and Brent Williams to name just a few. He began delivering corporate keynotes, including The PPD Retreat in Hobart and STW Group High Performers Retreat in the Hunter Valley, CMAA F&B Management Summit and receiving rave reviews.

On a personal note, in August 2008 his son Hunter was diagnosed with Leukemia, which caused a major refocusing of priorities in order to focus on seeing son and his family through the difficult process of chemotherapy treatment. Thankfully, his son is now finished his treatment and is well on the road to recovery and the experience has given Jason even more determination to make a difference in others change lives.

'Hunter has taught me more about living with flair and being in the moment than I could have ever learned on my own. While is may sound strange, I feel privileged to have shared this experience with him and only hope that I can reflect even a small proportion of the joy he has enabled me to access' Jason Jay.

Jason is officially launching his professional speaker career from Jan 2010, with bookings at Howard Silvers Sales Convention in February (Sydney) and The EA Network Conference at Luna Park in March.
