Rachael Finch has captured the hearts of the Australian public with her down to earth personality, sense of humour and enthusiasm for life. Rachael wowed the world when she represented Australia in the Miss Universe competition in the Bahamas in 2009. However, since then, Rachael has entered a new phase in her life and her versatility has led her to some exciting avenues.
Rachael's first real foray into television came in late 2009 when she cooked up a storm to place third on Channel Ten's popular hit show, Celebrity Masterchef. It was then no surprise that a number of TV networks saw something special in Rachael's presence on camera and expressed interest in signing the beautiful 21 year old. Rachael since signed a long term deal with the Seven network to feature across a range of programs including the 2010 series of Dancing With The Stars where she was a popular audience favourite. She also co-hosted travel show, 'High Road, Low Road' with Tom Williams where they visited some of the world's top travel destinations.
In late 2010 it was announced that Rachael would dive into a new role as the face of Speedo -- a perfect fit for her down-to-earth, Aussie beach girl personality. Rachael returned to the catwalk in 2011 to launch Speedo's new Summer range at the Mercedes Benz Sydney Fashion Festival.
The 2010/2011 Summer period saw Rachael present the weather on Seven's Sunrise. 2010 and 2011 also saw Rachael take to the tracks as part of Channel Seven's reporting team for their coverage of the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival. Rachael also presented nightly updates and a highlights show for the 2011 L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.
2011 also saw Rachael try her hand at radio, as a regular guest on Nova's national drive show 'Fitzy & Wippa'. With the show moving to the breakfast spot in 2012, Rachael continues her role as a popular guest on the program. During the 2011/2012 summer period, Rachael also co-hosted the Nova evening show.
Born in Sydney, but raised in Townsville, the glamorous 23 year old has come a long way. Rachael is a popular spokesperson and ambassador, and has featured in various campaigns such as VISA, Pedigree, Pantene and McHappy Day. Previously in her modelling career, Rachael travelled the world appearing in a number of high profile fashion magazines and featured in a number of campaigns for luxury labels such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Max & Co.
With her passion lying in the television and media industry, Rachael has also undertook a presenting course at the Sydney Academy of Film and Television. Whatever challenges Rachael faces, she still manages to contribute time, energy and support to a number of charitable organisations including; the Heart Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and Camp Quality. Rachael is passionate about all that life has to offer, she loves to be fit & healthy, loves her sport and is a keen water-skier and plays touch footy.
Her magnetism, openness, drive, and accomplished speaking skills, coupled with her natural beauty, position Rachael as a marketers' dream. She is a confident young woman with a big future ahead.
