There is something about Amberley Lobo. When she talks you can't help but get caught up in her excitement; her energy and 1000 watt smile are contagious; and all at once you are lured into her world of fun.

These things made her a standout amongst thousands of hopefuls when she entered a nationwide search conducted by the ABC to find a face for their new channel ABC 3. Since starting on Studio 3 Amberley has steadily built a loyal fan base and a reputation as one of the most promising young presenters, she is definitely one to watch.

Amberley's down-to-earth and enthusiastic nature captivates both children and adults of all ages. Her willingness to extend her abilities in all areas was highlighted during a Studio 3 Flash Dance, in which she performed a dance routine with acclaimed choreographer Demi Sorono and 150 back-up dancers in the middle of Federation Square.

Just this year Amberley was nominated at the Logie's for the 2011 Popular New Female Talent award.

Amberley is passionate about women's sport, children's health & wellbeing and environmental conservation. She is fanatical for all things cricket and recently worked on live-to-air television for ABC1 on the Women's International Twenty-Twenty series.

Working alongside Jim Maxwell, Tom Moody, Stephanie Brantz and the Chaser Boys, Amberley confidently provided a comic side to the event, successfully engaging a broader audience. With her unique approach to the cricket, including an engaging interview the winning captain, Amberley proved she is well equipped to write and produce her own content for live television.

In 2010 Amberley worked alongside John Foreman for the Schools Spectacular event which broadcast on ABC1. The show is one of the world's biggest youth variety events, with over 3000 public school students participating. Amberley was involved in both back-stage and on-stage interviews and entertainment to a live audience of over 11,000 people.

Amberley came from a modeling background in Perth where she modeled for Rosemount Australian Fashion week and Perth Fashion Festival for top designers including Romance was Born, Ruby Smallbone, Morrisey and Nicola Finetti. She has recently commenced a Journalism degree specialising in print and broadcast.
