Triple J presenter, writer and narrator Paul Verhoeven is a creative, fresh and versatile talent. He has plenty of fringe, off peak and weekend radio experience. Paul recently finished a five week stint as weekday host on the Triple J Breakfast Show, filling in for Tom and Alex over summer for 2010-2011. He with three friends also put together a show for the 2011 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, 'The Lords of Luxury'.

Throughout 2011 Paul has starred alongside Maude Garrett and Jeremy Ray in One HD's Save Point gaming review show pilot, Save Point is due to commence it's full length series in October of this year.

Paul has presented a comedic, Myth Busters style series for 'The Vine' online called Curiageous, which garnered over 80 000 hits. He recently narrated a documentary on ABC2 called 'Stop Rewind'. He has also written and starred in a comedy podcast, The Lords of Luxury, which hit number two on the iTunes podcast charts, second only to Hamish and Andy.

Paul holds a bachelor in Film Studies from the University of New South Wales. His credits include Host of The Weekend Breakfast Show on Triple J; this show was self-produced and included regular guests and interviews with international celebrities including Keith Urban & Tommy Wiseau. Paul is also in his third year hosting Close Encounters of the Nerd Kind on the weekday breakfast show with Tom and Alex.

As a skilled writer specializing in all things pop cultural, Paul has been a film critic for FilmInk Magazine, music reviewer and regular columnist for J-Mag, feature article writer and critic for Yen Magazine, and more recently a writer for The Vine where Paul is a film critic, comedic writer, and writer/illustrator of the webcomic Lessons for Children.
