Emma Lo Russo is an international business leader, strategist, marketer, coach, speaker and writer.
She co-founded Digivizer, Australia’s leading social web analytics technology company, in 2010 ,
focusing on where big data, social media and CRM converge to help organizations generate value
from actionable, real-time insights. Digivizer has worked with customers that include Lenovo,
Telstra, Intel, Commonwealth Bank, International Towers at Sydney’s Barangaroo, Microsoft, ANZ
Bank, Barilla and Brambles. The company now employs over 50 people.
In 2014, Digivizer became a Strategic Alliance Partner of Deloitte, won the 2014 Carnegie’s Den
investment round, and Emma was chosen as a Portfolio CEO for Heads Over Heels, the peer
organization supporting Australia’s leading female technology entrepreneurs.
Emma has served on the CSIRO AcceleratiON Selection Panel, reviewing and recommending high
potential innovative ventures for CSIRO, since 2015. In 2016 she was a finalist in the NAB Women’s
Leadership Awards, and was awarded the Pearcey Foundation Tech Entrepreneur of the Year Award
for NSW, recognizing those taking a risk and making a difference to the Australian ICT industry.
Before founding Digivizer Emma was President & Chief Operating Officer at Altium, an ASX-listed
global electronics design software company. Responsible for global operations, she managed the
business through record growth, and created and executed a highly successful IP protection
strategy to compete with software piracy in China.
Earlier in her career, Emma held senior business management and marketing responsibilities for
organizations that include Macquarie Bank and MBF (now Bupa). She completed her MBA with the
AGSM in 2013, winning the AGSM Anita Prabhu Women Leaders in Business Award for
entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership and business acumen.
