Simon Rountree is the CEO and founder of Change Ready. He has partnered with many organisations across the corporate, Government and NFP sectors to help equip their leaders and people with the skills and tools to grow through change, uncertainty and volatility to become mentally strong, resilient and to flourish. Simon understands that creating optimistic and innovative mindsets leads to improved staff engagement, communication, culture and sustainable growth and reduces risk, sick leave, workers compensation and turnover.

Originally a Preschool teacher, Simon has over 20 years CEO and Executive experience managing large multi-level organisations. With qualifications in teaching, business management, positive psychology and organisational coaching together with real-world experience of applying these methods in organisations, Simon is uniquely equipped to build productive workplaces and provide these organisations with the skills and tools to empower their people to grow through change so that they feel engaged, connected and contribute to organisational growth.

As an early adopter of practices to create mentally healthy workplaces Simon created Australia’s first measurable corporate wellbeing program based on psychology, neuroscience and organisational behaviours. He took Camp Quality from the verge of bankruptcy to become Australia’s largest and most trusted children’s charity and in doing so along the way increased revenue, brand recognition and service delivery that supported a few thousand children a year to over 250,000 children each year.

He is a regular key note speaker, was a finalist in the Pride of Australia Medal (Daily Telegraph), has been featured in numerous books and magazines and has authored two books with his second book (Build The Person You Want To Be – Exisle Publishing) released in October 2018. Simon lives with his partner and their two children in Sydney.
