Glenn Wheatley

Travels From:
Melbourne

Fee Range: C

Glenn Wheatley's extraordinary 30 year career in the entertainment industry is without equal. Initially centred on the contemporary music scene, his business interests have expanded to encompass the sport, film, television and radio industries.

Glenn formed and managed the Little River Band, who became the first Australian based group to attain a multi-million dollar recording contract and the first Australian act to achieve multi-platinum record sales in the US. Under Glenn's guidance, Little River Band went on to sell over 25 million albums worldwide.

The Wheatley Organisation, which Glenn founded in 1975, played a pivotal role in Australian contemporary music business, managing and promoting Australian artists locally and overseas.

TalentWorks, founded in 1996, allows him to focus his expertise on artist and sports management, music recording and publishing, tour promotion and event management.

Glenn continues to manage John Farnham along with Glenn Shorrock, James Reyne, Ross Wilson, Delta and Ian Baker-Finch. In 1999, Glenn published his long awaited autobiography "Paper Paradise: Confessions of a Rock 'n' Roll Survivor".
