Proud Kamilaroi man Corey Tutt is the CEO and founder of Deadly Science which gathers donations of science resources, and sends them to remote schools around Australia.

Corey is engaged with over 100 schools around Australia. In a recent survey, these schools showed a 25% increase in engagement in STEM-related subjects. In some schools attendance has increased by 40%
Whilst doing DeadlyScience Corey Tutt has been honoured by receiving the following awards
- CSIRO Indigenous STEM Champion 2020;
- The 2020 Australian of the Year from The Australian newspaper
- ABC Trailblazer Heywire 2020;
- AMP Foundation Tomorrow Maker 2019;
- Indigenous Young Achiever Award semi-finalist 2019;
- Indigenous Young Achiever Award finalist 2020;
- Eureka Prizes Finalist – Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources Eureka Prize for STEM Inclusion 2020;
- Nominee - Australian Human Rights Commission Human Rights Heroes Award 2020 (nomination is not yet publicly announced, due to be announced December 2020);

Despite all these accolades Corey also devotes his time to making tomorrow a better day; and telling kids and people about the First Scientists our Aboriginal and Torres strait islander people.

When Corey isn't doing DeadlyScience he plays rugby and finds reptiles. He also in 2018 started sponsoring a rugby team in Fiji by providing young men with boots and jerseys.
