At the 2017 Zimmer Biomet annual conference, Rob Redenbach provided a 60 minute keynote on leadership without rank. The response to Rob’s presentation was, according to Zimmer Biomet’s Vice President, “overwhelmingly positive”. A few days later, Rob delivered a half-day workshop to high achievers from BT Financial Group. Here’s how the senior manager within that group summarised Rob’s session: “It was such a breath of fresh air to hear insights from outside our own industry and to take half a day away from markets and spreadsheets to talk about the people in our team”.

Since presenting to Zimmer and BT, Rob has coached leadership teams from dozens of industries, including; real estate, hospitality and hair care (yes, hair care . . . if you missed the irony of that take a look at his mug). Rob’s ability to engage such a diverse range of audience types reflects his belief that just because leadership is a serious subject, that doesn’t mean it has to be boring.

With post-graduate qualifications in dispute resolution and mediation, Rob has a solid foundation of academic credentials and yet what separates him from arm-chair experts is his authenticity. Drawing from experiences that include working with the bodyguard team of Nelson Mandela in South Africa and providing security services to aid-workers in Iraq, Rob blends humour and hard facts to educate and entertain – simultaneously.

Focusing on working with, rather than against human nature, Rob offers highly effective techniques anyone can apply to rise to the challenge of leadership. A respected expert in his field, Rob has been featured in a range of mediums, including; the ABC’s Midday Report, Sky News Business and the Financial Review. His corporate client list includes: ANZ, Bechtel, Fuji Xerox, Johnson & Johnson, Seagate Technologies, Toshiba, Toyota and Zurich Financial Services – among many others.
