Ben Darwin has played professional Rugby Union at the elite level since 1997.
During his career with the ACT Brumbies he has played in four consecutive final series including winning the Super 12 Grand Final in 2001.
As a Wallaby, he has played in 28 test matches, including winning two Bledisloe Cups and winning test series against the British Lions also in 2001.
It was during semi final against New Zealand during the 2003 Rugby World Cup, that Ben received a career ending neck injury.
It threatened his ability to ever walk again.
However Ben channelled his fighting spirit and with the support of his family, friends and team mates made a miraculous recovery.
A graduate of the Australian Institute of Sport Scholarship program, Ben, is a skilled motivational and public speaker with considerable media experience. Team dynamics, coaching, leadership, sport / life balance and emotional intelligence are his key skill and interest areas.
