Her career has included 11 years on Woman's Day Magazine (3 years as Food Editor); 7 years as Cookery Editor of Bell Magazine; 7 years as regular food columnist for the Sun Herald and Sydney Morning Herald newspapers and 3 years as Food Editor of Family Circle magazine.
Charmaine Solomon's recipes often feature in Vogue Entertaining guide. She has contributed food articles to Vogue Living, Epicurean, National Times and Australian Gourmet Magazine.
Charmaine recently appeared in TWO episodes of "Food Lover's Guide to Australia" on SBS and with Rick Stein in the Sydney episode of "Taste of the Sea" in which he referred to Charmaine as the "Delia Smith of South East Asian cookery".
Recently a German publisher bought the rights to Charmaine's series of 8 single-subject cookbooks and will be translating them into 27 languages!
