Her competitive swimming career spanned 17 years during which she collected 24 Gold medals, 21 Silver medals and 8 Bronze medals at national and international competitions.

Lisa has been the face of the cruise liner P&O Cruises Australia and is known for several Uncle Toby?s advertising campaigns. In 2009 she gained her license as a personal fitness trainer and embarked upon a Sport and Exercise Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Int eh same year, she coached a team of women, all aged over 50, to paddle across the Molokai channel in Hawaii, a 72km slog against the ocean.

In 2010, having steered Mooloolaba Outrigging Canoe Club and Aussie teams to a record four world championships she accepted the role of Head Coach.

Lisa was the Chairman of the National Australia Day Council from 2000 - 2008, the first woman to be appointed to this prestigious position. She has also been on the Advisory Board of Council for the Encouragement of Philanthropy in Australia and an Ambassador to the Office of the Status of Women - Honouring Women program.

A sought after speaker both nationally and internationally, Lisa draws on her varied career as a competitive swimmer, coach, mother, author and public personality to stress the importance of physical and mental health for effective life management.

Lisa?s life motto; ?The fire inside still burns, and it?s the fire that takes you to success?, helps to inspire and motivate audiences to achieve their best.
