His thorough research, scripting and articulate presentation style provide the audience with a clear understanding of the conference's objective in a fun, humorous and informative way.

The "blind" man with the world's smallest guide dog, Rob Carlton is the star of over fifteen television commercials and an accomplished performer with a long list of film and television credits. A veteran of Theatresports, Rob won the 2001 Celebrity Theatresports Show and for the last five years has hosted, directed and tutored the renowned University competition.
A graduate of the University of Sydney, Rob Carlton majored in English and Australian Literature. At the university he was a champion debater and public speaker, winning the intercollegiate debating teams championship. Since graduating, Rob has appeared often in the University Celebrity/Charity debates alongside Peter Fitzsimons, James O'Loghlin and Adam Spencer. He has also been invited to high schools to speak to students on leadership and life after school.
A professional writer, Rob Carlton's first play A-Framed was staged at the Old Fitzroy Hotel in 1998 to critical and box office success. In 2006, as Writer, actor and co director, Rob Carlton took out both the best film and best actor awards at Sony Tropfest for his short, Carmichael and Shane. Currently he is developing a feature length romantic comedy screenplay for Melbourne film company, Instinct Entertainment.
