Sami is currently working as Newsreader and Presenter on THE GRILL TEAM at TRIPLE M, Sydney. She also makes regular Television appearances on THE MORNING SHOW on Channel 7, and 20 to 1 on Channel 9. She also works as a reporter for CINEBUZZ and CINELIVE, for Greater Union and Event Cinemas around the country.
Sami is also the official ambassador and "face" of the Optimal skincare range from Mannatech.
Sami has been with TRIPLE M for two years, where she has also co-hosted the UGLY PHIL & SAMI breakfast show in Sydney, and co-hosted THE CAGE breakfast show in Brisbane. Previously, Sami worked alongisde MERRICK & ROSSO on Nova 969's breakfast radio show.
Sami worked at the Nine Network for many years, where she worked as the Weather Presenter on the TODAY show, presenting the weather, live, from exciting and often challenging locations, all over Australia and in many overseas destinations. Whilst at Nine, Sami also co-hosted TORVILL & DEAN's DANCING ON ICE, hosted LOVES ME, LOVES ME NOT, and co-hosted the Network's New Years Eve and Logies Red Carpet specials.
Sami joined Nine in March, 2002 after four years at Network Ten, where she was a reporter and segment producer on the long running children's program Totally Wild. In addition to this role, Sami also regularly presented the weather, live, on the Sydney 5 O'clock News, and was a regular guest on Good Morning Australia.
In 2001, Sami was the roving reporter on the hugely successful Big Brother reality series, and co-host of the Network Ten travel adventure program The Blue Planet. In 2000, Sami hosted the reality series, Shipwrecked, co-hosted the Network's 18 foot skiff racing series, Grand Prix 2000, hosted the Network documentaries Australia's Wild & Weird Animals and The Royal Easter Show. In the same year, Sami was a roving reporter at Redfest, the official Olympics Opening Ceremony kick-off party.
In 1999, Sami hosted the Network Ten New Years Eve Special, Video Hits : Funk ! The Millenium, co-hosted the Network Special, Wakakirri, and was a regular guest on Cheez TV. In 1999 Sami was also the Network Ten Face of Motorsport and a roving reporter for LGTV, the live big-screen production at Stadium Australia for the Socceroos vs Brazil game.
In 1998, Sami also co-hosted the national prime-time series Totally Wild Rescue, presented a series of Summer Safety national community service announcements and was a regular presenter on Bright Ideas and Ground Zero.
Between 1995 and 1997, Sami was a regular face on Good Morning Australia, Inside Sport, Monday to Friday, Bright Ideas, Ernie & Denise, At Home with John Mangos and Infobreak. In 1993 Sami was a reporter on the Network Ten Adventure Program, Wild Weekend.
Sami graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 1992 with a Bachelor of Business Communication, majoring in Film and Television, and with a minor in Journalism. In her final year, Sami was awarded the Federation of Radio Broadcasters Prize for the most outstanding student in broadcast journalism.
