Barry Bull is a multi-award winning retailer who for over twenty-five years kept his iconic Brisbane business Toombul Music, in the spotlight of the Australian music industry.

A former musician, and national record company executive, his business went on to win over thirty Westfield retail awards including the prestigious National Individual Specialty Retailer Award three times. In 1997 Barry was an inaugural inductee into the Westfield Hall of Fame for retail excellence, 2001 presented with a Westfield Legend Award, and 2003 honoured with a Commonwealth Centenary Medal for distinguished achievement in business.

An accomplished international conference speaker and author of four published business books, Barry’s current corporate keynote Unexpected Hero, is an inspiring presentation of business insights in words and music, reuniting his musical roots with his ‘hero’ vintage Fender guitar.

Music earned him in 2014 an ARIA gold album award and his ‘Gift of Sound’ fund raising presentations supports awareness for hearing impaired children.

Barry’s latest project A little Bull goes a long way, is a live musical concert of his memoirs, celebrating a 50 year career in music and shares highly entertaining experiences rubbing shoulders with some of the worlds biggest superstars.
