Rhys Muldoon is one of Australia's most experienced and versatile MCs, a broadcaster, actor, and writer who brings 30 years of stagecraft, genuine curiosity, and a sharp sense of fun to every event he hosts.

Whether it's an awards night, a conference, or an on-stage interview with your CEO, Rhys works from a simple premise: there's no such thing as an easy job or an easy life. He'll bring the funny and a bit of tough love if needed and the warmth of someone who's been in the room, done the hard yards, and knows exactly when to get out of the way and let the moment land. He knows there's no 'I' in team but recognises there are quite a few in individual brilliance.

Rhys was invited to participate in the 2020 Summit, where he also served as host alongside Hugh Jackman, and has since hosted hundreds of events across business, sport, politics, and entertainment including moderating the Forest Economic Congress, where conservationists and forestry professionals sat down to find solutions rather than headlines. He knows how to guide a room but believes a conversation is always better than a lecture.

A familiar voice on Sky News The Contrarians, Rhys has been a columnist for the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Monthly, The Spectator, and Inside Football, and is a regular on ABC radio and the commercial networks. As a Logie and AACTA-nominated actor, his screen credits span Rake, Play School, Valentine's Day, Grass Roots, North Shore, Interceptor, and the Oscar-nominated The Saviour. He's also a recording artist with two ARIA-nominated albums to his name.

Over three decades, Rhys has interviewed Prime Ministers, CEOs, Olympians, sportsmen and women of every code, politicians, artists, musicians, and by his own description colourful racing identities. He once spent two weeks on Chopper Read's farm and lived to tell the tale. Just. A familiar face at corporate events and sporting clubs alike, Rhys has also been known to deliver hoax keynote presentations in character more and more outlandish until everyone is inside the joke.

Off stage, Rhys has worked as a PR flack, helping high-profile people get out of trouble never into it, all while holding firmly to the old-fashioned belief that good manners go a long way. He's also worked with numerous charities over the years, and as an auctioneer, has helped raise millions for causes worth fighting for.

Rhys has been an Australia Day Ambassador for 15 years, taking him to more country towns than he can count - most recently Woodenbong, in the hills of northern NSW (look it up).
