A mum, accomplished journalist, television presenter, three-time best selling author and Australia's most popular "Crap Housewife" - Jessica Rowe AM first became known to Australian audiences as anchor for the 5pm News (TEN), then as co-host of The Today Show (NINE), Weekend Sunrise news presenter (SEVEN) and later as co-host of Studio 10 (TEN).
Her weekly podcast "The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show" was a finalist for "Podcast of the Year" in its very first season. It is now in its third year and her loyal on-line audience cannot get enough of her sparkly outfits, self crafted hats and burnt sausages.
In an inspired (some may say courageous) and ironic move last year the biggest cookbook publisher in all the land, The Australian Women's Weekly even asked Jess for her help to publish a "Crap Housewife" cookbook of not-so-crap family meals.
Jess passionately supports mental health awareness as an ambassador for Beyond Blue and Patron of Mental Health Australia. She has been honoured with the Order of Australia (AM) for her mental health advocacy.
Jess is married to the Nine Network's senior 60 Minutes reporter and Sydney news anchor, Peter Overton. They have two teenage girls - Allegra and Giselle.
