Kate’s extensive intersectional career across the creative and education industries, is multidisciplinary and collaborative. Her MC work is informed by her rich arts practice traversing acting, comedic performance, playwriting, academia, advocacy, podcasting for over twenty-five years.
Kate’s distinct comedic voice is her signature as a sought-after MC. Her superpower is her ability to weave golden threads of humour and story throughout her work, as the trojan horse for impact while connecting audiences to content and each other.
Kate’s national and international touring experience ignited her commitment to advocate for the arts as central to the creation of liveable, thriving cities. From her lived experience in regional Australia, she is a passionate advocate for regional arts, supporting artists at all stages of their careers to thrive and create work from their unique viewpoint.
Creative Force: a podcast with exceptional women launched in 2024 and has increased demand for her to facilitate ‘In Conversation’ sessions with Executive leaders and Moderate panels, MC conferences, workshops and roundtables.
Recent works on stage and screen include: Highway of Lost Hearts by Maryanne Butler (Stage Dir; Adam Deusien, 2022-2024) Fast Cars (Stage play: playwright, lyricist /performer 2020-2024 Bathurst); Roast Night (TV Comedy Series Channel 7 Dir; Rick Donald 2023).

Kate was a Board Member of Theatre Network NSW 2020-2023 and Arts OutWest 2012-2014. Company member Lingua Franca Theatre Company, Create NSW Regional Arts Fellow. Kate is Senior Yoga Teacher, leading classes and retreats since 2003.
