Introducing Lucy Thomas, the driving force of kindness behind Australia's youth-driven movement against (cyber)bullying, hate, and prejudice.
Lucy's not your typical CEO. Alongside sister Rosie, they co-founded PROJECT ROCKIT straight out of high school, driven by a hunger to create more inclusive school communities for future generations.
As a keynote speaker and facilitator, Lucy has personally engaged with hundreds of thousands of young people across the globe, from Wangaratta to Texas, Wollongong to Auckland, Atherton to Perth. Lucy’s work has been honoured by UNICEF, the global Family Online Safety Institute, and with a Medal of the Order of Australia. Today, Lucy leads on global Safety Advisory Boards of Meta, Snapchat, Spotify, and various government initiatives.
Despite an unwavering commitment to kindness and inclusion, Lucy knows just how soul-destroying bullying can be. As a survivor, Lucy chose to speak up and channel these personal learnings into a widely received TEDx talk, titled “Kindness: The ultimate rebellion against bullying.”
