For over two decades, Caroline Pegram has worked as a producer for award winning companies, academics, and media talent, with a specialisation in science communications. Most notable with Dr Karl Kruszelnicki.

In 2017, Caroline ventured into the world of Artificial Intelligence when she joined Uncanny Valley as their Innovation & Strategy Director, expanding their technology arm to form both commercial and academic global partnerships. Together they forged a path between cutting edge technologies and music, using artificial intelligence and machine learning to augment creativity – building platforms like ML Tools for Musicians with Google’s Creative Lab.

In 2020 she co-led the team that won the very first global AI Eurovision Song Contest with their track Beautiful the World.

In 2022, Caroline collaborated with the Australian National University to curate an exhibition and co-author a book focussing on the development of computing, technology, and creativity across industries from 1968 - 2022. The same year she was a finalist in the Women in AI Awards.

In 2024 Caroline recently completed a residency at the Australian National University in Canberra, exploring the uses of data sonification and built a platform called Wombtunes to convert baby ultrasounds to music.

In 2023, Caroline joined the team at SXSW Sydney as the Head of Tech & Innovation.
