Sally Loane is a Chair and Non-Executive Director, and a former CEO, business executive and journalist and broadcaster.
Sally's experience and skills span across financial services, SaaS FinTechs, manufacturing/marketing, media, including as a broadcaster with ABC radio and journalist with Fairfax and News Corp as well as being a corporate and public affairs director for an ASX30 company.
In her current career as a non-executive director Sally is the Chair Destination NSW and Ignition Advice, and an independent non-executive director of Chubb Insurance Australia and the Garvan Medical Research Foundation. She is an Advisory Board member for consulting firm Orizontas.
Sally works in an honorary capacity with many community and not-for-profit organisations, including Governor of the Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation and Ambassador for Business Events Sydney.
She is currently a Trustee of the ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park, Sydney, and a mentor with the Minerva Network and formerly, the Superstars of STEM program.
Sally was the first female Director of Waratahs Rugby (2010-2017); a director of VenuesNSW and a Director of SCEGGS Darlinghurst.
Previously an Ambassador for women's refuge Lou's Place, and an adviser to the NSW Government in the areas of women’s economic opportunities and domestic violence prevention.
