Christian leads Geopolitical Strategy, a global, independent geopolitical advisory firm that assists businesses and leaders act with confidence in a changing world order, and Geopolitical Dispatch, a daily intelligence brief trusted by tens of thousands of business leaders worldwide.

At Geopolitical Strategy, Christian helps businesses and financial institutions at the centre of geopolitics, a calm voice and practical operator in unprecedented global shifts in international relations. Prior to leading Geopolitical Strategy, Christian served as Head of Reform Strategy and Delivery at Australia’s National Emergency Management Agency, shaping the country’s institutional response to large-scale crises, having previously led on COVID-19 responses. He advised on strategy and transformations at McKinsey & Company, and served in Australia’s Financial Services Royal Commission, one of the most consequential regulatory inquiries in the country’s history — helping reshape the governance, conduct and design of the financial sector. He started his career as a financial services lawyer across the Asia-Pacific.

Christian holds a Master of Public Policy (Distinction) from the University of Oxford and First Class Honours degrees in law and international relations. He is based in Paris.
