When he was 16, Mr Hartman was the youngest-ever columnist on the Sydney Morning Herald. At 22, he became the youngest-ever director of a public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. In 2000, he received the Young Australian of the Year Award for Career Achievement having founded several companies with offices in Sydney, San Francisco and London.
Now aged 27, Mr Hartman works as Director of Corporate Development for destra Corporation and as a political lobbyist for the Manildra Group. Hartman Advisory Partners has previously provided services to companies including Telstra, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, McDonalds Corporation and Gresham Advisory Partners.
Alex also supports youth initiatives as an Ambassador of the Sony Foundation and a Trustee of Young Achievement Australia. He was appointed by the Commonwealth Government as a Director of the $69 million National Youth Mental Health Foundation initiative and is a Member of the IT&T Committee of the Commonwealth Government Industry Research & Development Board.
