Abides by his mantra that constant transformation is the key to a resilient life. George learnt from his first career as a registered nurse that life is wonderful yet precarious, tragic yet inspirational and that storytelling is the conduit to a summed up life. As such George evolved from a nurse to national award winning performance writer, performer, comic, academic plus business owner overlapping film, theatre, business, health and education.

The IDEA is the foremost thing of interest to him and how best to realise it involves working and thinking across disciplines and fields searching out its right home. His PhD exploring persuasive performance, charisma and their power in the selling of ideas led to an understanding that the strength of an idea involved people coming on board. Further, a well sold idea with open collaboration was the key to successful projects, businesses and relationships (both professional and personal).

Teaching at UTS in Design Thinking, Performance and Communications he thrives on facilitating people and ideas to move to better places, enjoying high-level conceptual thinking and problem solving, driving creative, innovative and entrepreneurial outcomes. Worked with start-ups or early stages of business development in the commercial and social sectors and has gone down the venture road - amongst others was executive producer / co-artistic director / company owner Flickerfest International Short Film Festival (Australia) and executive produced / visioned health TV channel POWtv and RPAtv (shortlisted NSW Premiers Award.

George is actively involved in his community. As President (volunteer) of the multiple award winning Petersham Bowling Club, he led a team that turned around a failed club destined for the developers by removing poker machines and creating a thriving arts, music and community hub, increasing turnover by over 700% in 10 years.

He has hosted ABC 702 programs, won national competitions for excellence in performance writing and toured extensively around Australia.

George is a well-loved MC and brings his strong improvisational theatre background and professional presentation skills. He also delivers workshops on a range of topics including: Creativity, Identity and Presentation skills.
