Throughout an illustrious fifteen year international basketball career, Damian Keogh wore the green and gold on more than 200 occasions including three Olympic campaigns - Los Angeles in 1984, Seoul in 1988 and Barcelona in 1992.

He also competed at three World Championships before retiring from Australian representation in 1994.

On the homefront Damian has been a pioneer in the development of the National Basketball League, beginning in 1980 with the Nunawading Spectres before moving to Sydney in 1985 and joining the Sydney Kings in their formative season in 1988.

Damian captained the Kings from 1989 until retiring at the end of the 1995 season, leading them to the semi finals in 1989 and 1992. He leads the Kings all time records in points and assists, was named the most Valuable player in 1990 and is one of a handful of players to have played more than 400 NBL games.

Born in 1962 in Melbourne, Damian graduated from Melbourne University with a Commerce degree and has blended his sporting interests with a variety of business, media and community interests.

Damian worked for the Seven Network as Head of Olympic Marketing and Promotion, as a columnist with the Sydney Morning Herald, and was part of the Seven commentary team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.

His company Damian Keogh and Associates is involved in a diverse range of business activities including child care centres, property development and sports marketing consulting. Damian has also published two books, "Making a Dream Come True" and "Money for Jam".

Damian is an executive Board Member of the New South Wales Australia Day Council, a Board Member of Basketball Australia, and a patron to both the NSW Handicapped Children Centre and NSW Wheelchair Basketball. He is married to Olympic basketballer Maree White and they have three children, Maddison, Sam and Isabella.
