Laura is well known for her role as a former travel presenter on The Great Outdoors and co-host on the internationally successful game show Wheel of Fortune.
Born and raised in Adelaide, Laura displayed a genuine love of the great outdoors from an early age with skills ranging from solo sky-diving, rock climbing, cross country snow-skiing, advanced scuba diving, competitive swimming, white water kayaking, horse-riding and water-skiing (making it to the level of SA State Champion).
A former model and fitness instructor, Laura has had previous television experience before joining Channel 7 as a travel reporter for The Great Outdoors in 2000.
She hosted Beyond Productions World's Best Beaches for the USA Travel Channel and a travel show on Australia for Italian television and co-presented several Adelaide based specials for Channel Seven.
As a model, Laura featured in the Australian Fashion Awards, on The Battle of The Sexes on the Ten Network and graced the covers of numerous national sports magazines.
A versatile media personality Laura has also worked in radio co-hosting a program on the Radio 2 National Network.
Laura is more famously known as a former Miss Universe Australia (1997) and Miss World Australia (1998)- the first model to represent Australia in both the two major international pageants.
She was crowned Miss Congeniality at the 1997 Miss Universe Pageant.
Last year saw Laura host the BBC series Massive Nature, a six part series on Channel 7.
Her extensive television experience has now led to Laura becoming a key note speaker at tourism and lifestyle seminars and event MC when she is not travelling.
In her down time Laura loves to ride her new Ducati and loves hanging out with her mate- border collie Abbey.
