Dave O'Neil's friendly, easy going manner has made him one of Australia's most popular and versatile comics.
Dave is also an accomplished writer (TV comedy, Film, Newspaper columnist, Biography, Children's books), he has numerous TV performing credits including ABC-TV's 'The Fat' and Network Ten's 'The Panel'.
His acting credits have included a lead role in feature film 'The Nugget' (with Eric Bana and Stephen Curry), feature films 'Takeaway' and 'You and Your Stupid Mate' (which he co-wrote), and a guest role in 'Stingers'. Dave has written (and sometimes performed) for many successful sketch comedy shows including senior roles on 'Totally Full Frontal', 'The Eric Bana Show', 'Jimoen' and 'The Big Schmooze'.
He has also written 3 books, 'Unfit for Life', and children's books 'Raised by Frank' and 'Lies Your Parents Tell You'.
As well as writing and performing shows in eleven Melbourne Comedy Festivals Dave has appeared at the Comedy Club, Last Laugh, the Comedy Store in Sydney and the Sit Down Comedy club in Brisbane.
Dave is without doubt one of the most popular, and versatile performers in the country. His observational humour and genuine humility have made him a much sought after MC and stand up comedian.
