James Chin Moody is a co-founder and CEO of Sendle, a technology company revolutionising parcel delivery in Australia. He was recently chosen by as one of Australia’s Knowledge 100 by the Australian, as one of 100 individuals shaping Australia’s role in the Knowledge Economy.
His vision to tap into existing infrastructure and unlock the power of big business delivery networks is a game changer for the 2 million+ small businesses that form the backbone of the Australian economy.
James’ repertoire extends from his beginnings as the Chief Systems Engineer launching the Australian Satellite FedSat, to founding Sendle as Australia’s first technology B Corporation and first 100% carbon neutral delivery service.
James completed his PhD in innovation theory at the Australian National University and has held roles as Executive Director, Development at the CSIRO, Australian National Commissioner for UNESCO and member of the Australian Bureau of Statistics Advisory Council. He is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and currently serves on the Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the Future of Software and Society.
He is an expert and leading thinker on the interface between sustainability and innovation and is the co-author of The Sixth Wave: How to Succeed in a Resource-Limited World.
