In the competitive world of tribute shows and corporate entertainment, one act stands alone. An act that showcases the music of the greatest rock band of the twentieth century and pays homage to the most charismatic and flamboyant front man of all, Freddie Mercury. This show is THE KILLER QUEEN SHOW.

Imagine a show that features the musical legacy, energy and iconic performances of this great rock band. That is exactly what Brisbane actor and musician Johnny Blunt did in 2003 when he conceived the idea for Killer Queen . Already an experienced and versatile performer, Johnny Blunt decided to pay homage to the greatest rock act of all time. Add a hot band of Queensland's best session musicians; a wardrobe of detailed and exactly replicated costumes, a stage presence second to none and you have The Killer Queen Show. And the only Queen Tribute in Qld !

Bearing an uncanny resemblance to Freddie Mercury some audience members have commented on what they saw on stage was Freddie's ghost; The moment he steps foot on stage, Freddie's very essence is alive again, all members of Killer Queen bear a very real and eerie resemblance to Queen.

The entire band now make it part of the show to meet the audience for the compulsory group or individual photo's after each and every show and all bear a remarkable resemblance to the original members of Queen.

Johnny has performed throughout Asia and Australia as well as being on several TV commercials. The Killer Queen Show was nominated at the 2006 South East Queensland Entertainment Awards as Best Tribute Show, and performs live with no backing tracks!, just as Queen did back in the day. The Killer Queen Show guitarist, Anthony Smith, even uses a signature copy of Queen guitarist Brian May's guitar to re-create that authentic haunting sound recognized by the millions of fans all around the world.

The Killer Queen Show starts in the 1970's the decade and leather and long hair, through to the 80's and 90's when Queen were the hottest act in music, with such immortal rock hits as Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Will Rock You We Are The Champions and of course Bohemian Rhapsody.

The Killer Queen Show plays to packed houses and passionate audiences. And is actually building it's own fan base through out Australia and overseas. Because the music featured in the show covers the 1970's through to the millennium, the audience is always a broad collection of fans from eighteen year olds through to retirees who all share a love of timeless rock music. The Killer Queen Show has supported such acts as Diesel, James Reyne, Mark Seymour, Bjorn Again to name a few, and has toured extensively in Australia and overseas. The King and Queen Show has also been featured on Channel 9 and played an unplugged session on 4KQ and 4BC. And was also featured in November 2007 edition of Womans Day.
