Following her stellar swimming career dual Olympian Elka is ambassador for Swisse Vitamins, Heinz and Allianz Life and currently appears on The Morning Show (Seven Network) as a regular jury member. In 2010 Elka and her husband Thomas welcomed their first child, a beautiful girl named Nevada, in late 2011 she had her second child baby Edison.
Elka is working on new media projects and is in demand as a speaker and MC. She is versatile and able to address various audiences including young school children to senior business executives. Her unique story is one of team building, massive shocks, courageous achievements and a barrel of laughs

Elka has been through triumphs and setbacks and has achieved a string of Olympic, World Championship and Commonwealth Games records. She is a woman full of passion and determination.
"Every morning I wake to know that there are 86,400 seconds in every single day and if I ever feel short changed I know that everyone else has the exact same of amount of seconds in their day as I do. Two questions I always ask in my seminars, are "Do you know who you are?" and "Where do you want to go?" more often than not many people know what they want or where they are going but struggle with identifying themselves."
