Her career began when she graced the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine at the age of 16. She went on to become a top international model with contracts in Germany, Italy and New York, working with the world’s top models and photographers.
In the years since, Deborah has become one of the most recognisable and best-known personalities in Australia with an extensive television career hosting multiple lifestyle programs for the Nine network, as well as being an editor of the Australian Women’s Weekly for over 10 years.
Deborah joined forces with Foxtel in 2010 hosting programs across various channels and is currently the host of Foxtel‘s Lifestyle hit shows ‘Find Me a Beach House’ and ‘Find Your Dream Home’.
In 2015 Deborah following her passion for cooking and entertaining, authored two cookbooks – ‘Entertaining Made Easy by Deborah Hutton’ and ‘My Love Affair with Food’.
Deborah is a savvy businesswoman. In 2021, Hutton launched her range of stylish homewares “Home with Deborah Hutton” exclusive to My House Australia.
In 2020 Deborah survived her second significant skin cancer surgery and has since become a Brand Ambassador for The Skin Hospital, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Lions Australia Mobile Skin Cancer Screening initiative and continues to be a strong advocate for skin cancer awareness.
Seeing a need for sun protection on a broader scale, in 2021 Deborah launched “Canopy Bay”, her first collection of UPF 50+ maximum sun protective hats. Becoming aware of a unique and innovative material which blocks harsh UV rays, Deborah personally designed a lifestyle hat range, suitable for every occasion.
Deborah is in demand as a keynote speaker and is renowned as a professional MC who always does her research whether hosting a glamorous awards night or interviewing Australia’s top CEOs.
