Brigid Glanville is a former NSW Political Reporter for ABC television, radio and online. She commenced her new role in May 2019 as Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy for the NSW Government.

As the ABC�s senior television reporter working in the NSW Parliament House bureau, Brigid covered a range of political, business and social issues affecting NSW. She covered State politics for the past 6 years. She�s seen the highs and lows of Labor and Liberal governments and covered the round during leadership spills and changes.

Brigid was a reporter and presenter for the ABC�s Lateline Business program. As well as providing analysis and coverage of daily business moves and what was happening on the markets, Brigid specialised in mining and agriculture. She covered extensively the move from agricultural commodities to the mining boom, filing stories from across the country.

Brigid�s skills as a reporter and presenter have seen her work overseas in the ABC�s Washington Bureau, where she covered the Anthrax attacks post terrorism attacks of 9/11 and in 2011 worked in the ABC�s New Zealand bureau covering the Pacific region. This also included covering the Pike River Mine disaster in NZ and the Christchurch earthquake.

Brigid�s skills as a reporter and interviewer see her in demand to MC events and facilitate discussions from issues as broad as health, business leadership and politics.

Brigid is married, with two daughters and two step sons.
