Georgia captured hearts around Australia in her 2016 season of The Bachelorette and as a seasoned journalist has become one of Australia's favourite media personalities.
At the time she was approached to be The Bachelorette, Georgia was already an established Journalist, covering state and national elections, court and criminal reporting along with being prime-time weekday news anchor for WIN News Tasmania.
Georgia experienced the biggest whirlwind of her life as The Bachelorette on the Channel 10 ratings smash reality show in 2016. After a nation-wide search, Georgia's impressive career accomplishments, down-to-earth nature and warm personality made her the clear choice for the role.
After the show, Georgia returned to her first love, news, working across all the free to air networks, before finally landing a role as a reporter for 7 News in Melbourne in 2021.
Outside of TV, Georgia runs her own business, Georgia Elliot Pyjamas and hosts her own successful podcast, Everyone Has An Ex. She is also a highly sought-after public speaker and MC, having worked for clients including Priceline, Nescafe, Mimco, Palmers Skincare & Chadstone Shopping Centre, the Mothers' Day Classic, Breast Cancer Network Australia and Barnado's Mother of the Year.
Georgia is also the proud ambassador for The Pancare Foundation, a cause close to her heart after tragically losing her mother to pancreatic cancer in 2016. That deep personal connection has inspired Georgia to do all she can to help raise awareness of this devastating killer and is honoured to officially represent Pancare.
Away from work, Georgia loves travelling and spending time with her husband Lee (who she met on the Bachelorette) and her cat, Pawdrey Hepburn.
