David Finnigan is a leading climate artist who creates performances and games that bring to life critical concepts from the cutting edge of earth science.

Originally from Ngunnawal country (Canberra), for the last two decades David has worked around the world with leading climate research institutions and theatre companies. He is internationally recognised for his plays, talks and games bringing together the arts and sciences.

David is best known for his 2017 play Kill Climate Deniers, which launched in Sydney before being produced worldwide by theatres from London to Los Angeles to Prague. His solo shows about climate change and planetary transformation have been seen on stages including the Sydney Opera House and the Barbican London.

Working in residence at leading research institutions such as University College London, the Stockholm Resilience Centre and the Earth Observatory Singapore, David has developed a unique and innovative performance style that brings to life key issues in the climate conversation. The Scotsman newspaper said, "It's hard to imagine a fresh perspective on climate change, but Finnigan finds one."

David has created interactive presentations for organisations such as the World Bank, the Wellcome Trust, Nesta UK and Climate Safe Lending. He has presented at the World Bank's Understanding Risk forum, London's FutureFest and the European Geophysicists Union's General Assembly.
