Naureen is an awarded change maker and energy leader as Group Manager of Future Low Carbon Portfolio at AGL Energy, leading a team developing emerging generation and storage projects across Australia. In addition, she is the founder of AGECEI - a social enterprise for advancing gender equality in the clean energy industry.

She is passionate about leveraging inclusion and diverse thinking to operationalise innovative technology for a sustainable energy future and during her time at Cambridge University studied how organisations meet their decarbonisation aspirations.

Naureen connects with and empower audiences with pragmatic advice that focuses on the "how to" for building inclusive teams.

Naureen has a diverse engineering career in the energy and resource industry as a chartered Chemical and Metallurgical Engineer, with a Masters in Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge University. She has also worked at several top-tier and international organisations such as ExxonMobil, Rio Tinto, Origin Energy, Aurecon and AGL.

Naureen has been recently recognised as one of the 2023 Australian Financial Review BOSS Young Executives of the Year and is an Advisory Board Member for ACT government's Renewable Energy Innovation Fund.

In 2021, Naureen was awarded Women's Agenda Emerging Leader in Technology, EnergyLab's Women in Climate and Energy Fellowship and was named a finalist for Engineers Australia 2020 Young Engineer of the Year.
