Maureen Jordan has over 30 years experience and is recognised as one of Australia’s most prominent women in business. She was inducted to the Australian Business Women’s Hall of Fame in 1996.
Maureen Jordan is CEO of Switzer Group, one of Australia’s leading financial and business publishers where she and her husband, Peter Switzer, have developed a substantial business over the last 3 decades that specialises in providing financial and business content to a significant audience of Australian investors.
Maureen Jordan has an intimate understanding of what is required to develop sustainable businesses that attract and retain great talent, and importantly the leadership qualities required to lead teams through growth and change.
Maureen Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and a Law Degree (Honours). She has held Editor-in-Chief roles for esteemed publications such as Charter magazine, for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and has authored several books, including Women Entrepreneurs, which she wrote for the Federal Office of Women, Small Business Start Up Guide, published by Allen & Unwin, and Finding And Managing Your Mortgage. She also holds the licence to publish the world’s oldest magazine – Harper’s Bazaar in Australia and NZ and edits the long-standing Switzer Investment Report.
